Liposovit®-Fe is liposomal iron (bisglycinate) in powder form. The product responds to the growing interest in effective iron supplementation, especially among women of childbearing age, vegetarians and vegans (lower bioavailability of iron contained in plant products), people on elimination diets and athletes.
Liposovit®– Fe contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, as well as reducing feelings of fatigue and tiredness. It also helps maintain normal cognitive function and supports the normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin, normal oxygen transport in the body and the proper functioning of the immune system.

The Caco-2 cell line worked perfectly in assessing how liposomal iron is absorbed and transported through the intestinal epithelium. Three independent experiments were run, and their findings have been shown in Figure 1.
